Our Statement of Faith

We believe in the foundational truths of the Christian faith as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, which we accept as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

Specifically, we affirm:

  1. The Holy Scriptures: We believe the Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, complete and sufficient for all matters of faith and practice. It is the supreme and final authority by which all teaching, tradition, and conduct should be tested.
  2. The Triune God: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal and distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, possessing all divine attributes, yet distinct in their roles and relationships.
  3. God the Father: We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He is the sovereign Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things, working all things according to the counsel of His holy will.
  4. God the Son, Jesus Christ: We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary and atoning sacrifice for the sins of humanity, was bodily resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
  5. God the Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He indwells believers, regenerates them, seals them unto the day of redemption, empowers them for service, and guides them into all truth.
  6. Humanity: We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience, resulting in spiritual death and separation from God. Consequently, all people are born with a sinful nature and are under the just condemnation of God.
  7. Salvation: We believe that salvation is solely by God’s grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a free gift, not earned by human works. Justification is by faith alone, through which the righteousness of Christ is imputed to the believer, and their sins are forgiven.
  8. Regeneration: We believe that regeneration, or the new birth, is a work of the Holy Spirit by which a person is made a new creation in Christ, receiving a new nature and the ability to live in obedience to God.
  9. Sanctification: We believe that sanctification is the ongoing process by which believers are progressively conformed to the image of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit and the diligent use of the means of grace.
  10. The Church: We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, composed of all believers in Jesus Christ throughout the world. We also believe in the local church, a community of believers who gather together for worship, fellowship, teaching, prayer, and the observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
  11. The Ordinances: We believe that water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are the two ordinances instituted by Christ to be observed by believers until His return. These ordinances are symbolic and serve as a testimony to our faith and participation in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  12. The Second Coming: We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead and to consummate His kingdom.
  13. Resurrection and Judgment: We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous – the righteous to eternal life with God and the unrighteous to eternal separation from God in conscious judgment.

This statement represents the core beliefs that guide our website and ministry. We are committed to proclaiming and living out these truths as revealed in the Word of God.
